Inservice Day Camps
Register early as these camps fill up very quickly! For grades Primary to Six. Come fill your day with indoor and outdoor fun by spending your school inservice days at the Sackville Sports Stadium!

Summer Day Camps
The Sackville Sports Stadium is excited to once again offer Summer Day Camps. This summer, campers will be placed into age appropriate groupings to provide the opportunity for everyone involved to participate and have fun! Our camps are focused on fun, with each day consisting of a balanced mix of activities that stimulate the mind, get the creative juices flowing and allow the participants to be active in a safe, positive, and supervised environment.
Campers will experience a variety of sports, co-operative games, outdoor and water activities, adventure and leadership activities as well as some arts & crafts. Summer Camps are often planned around a specific theme. The theme will be incorporated into the activities of the week. A fun way to get out and enjoy the summer!
There are also pre-order/prepay lunch options available (see top of page for more info). Fees include early drop off and late pickup. Please Note: Refer to Page 3 for more information on our Inclusion & Refund Policy).
We offer a 10% discount to a multiple children of the same family.
Post dated payments are accepted, however, full payment for all July camps are due by June 16th, 2017 and all August camps must be paid in full by July 14th, 2017. Please review our withdrawal policy carefully before registering for camps.
Camp Hours are from 9:00am - 4:00pm and we offer early drop off starting at 7:30am and late pick up at 5:30pm.
Adventures in H20
Great for the water enthusiast, campers will participate in a variety of water-soaked activities along with daily swimming. Camp may also include a trip to another pool and/a visit to a spray park!
Amazing races in summer camp! If you love solving puzzles, riddles, going on scavenger hunts and being challenged this camp is for you. You will be challenged both mentally and physically as you work individually and as a team to solve a variety of challenges.
Campers are in the pool twice a day most days. Activities include water games, outdoor and indoor sports and activities, and afternoon leisure swims!
Everything is backwards this week! From our clothes to our, sports, games and activities! We will be learning all things backwards including rolls, walking, baseball, basketball and more!
Create buildings, roads and cities with blocks, diggers and front loaders. Mix “cement” and make 3D wood sculptures. Camp will have a focus on STEM activities (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) that will keep campers engaged and excited!
Have a Ball with H20
Campers will be immersed into all kinds of different ball sports, with one addition, water and lots of it! Volleyball with wet sponges, water balloon baseball, water badminton and more!
Kitchen Chemists & Green Thumbs
Cooking and Chemistry! Learn the art of cooking and how chemistry plays a major role in baking. Campers will experiment with baking and cooking by taking out key ingredients and learning their how science can be super tasty! Campers will also spend time in the community garden.
Have a curious kid? At Myth Busters camp we love to explore all types of questions! This is the place where myths will be tested under safe, supervised indoor and outdoor lab conditions.
Nature Quest 150
With Canada’s 150th birthday in mind, campers will experience adventure in an outdoor setting. Exploration of nature will spur creativity and imagination while learning to appreciate the world around them. Participants will do scavenger hunts, play games, hike, create crafts, survival activities and learn about Canada’s unique history including traditional cuisine, sports and music!!
Sports & All Sorts
A variety of sports and games are in the line-up as well as swims and skates. Camp will include structured skills and drills, a chance to learn about and try some new sports and play traditional sports but with a twist.
Look out 007-the Spy Academy is here! From message decoding to metal detectors and night vision, campers will have the opportunity to check out spy equipment and even create their own edible message. Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis.
Ticket to Anywhere
End the summer with a bang! Campers will spend the week visiting and exploring far corners of the city
Arrrr mateys! Join us for a week of adventure for treasure! Decode pirate’s maps to find hidden treasures, create your best pirate costume equip with eye patches and spyglasses! Will you walk the plank?
Under the Sea
Calling all merpeople, sharks and string rays! This camp is all about exploring life under the sea! Get ready for a week of sea creature fun with crafts, games, swimming and more!
Ultimate Warrior Week
You will not want to miss this week of ultimate camp challenges! Awesome obstacle courses, outrageous races and team competitions are just a few of the things that will challenge the body and mind of our campers..
Ultimate Young Leaders
This week’s theme is all about leadership, entrepreneurship, teamwork etc. They will learn about important facets of leadership and how to develop leadership qualities in themselves.
As a wilderness wanderer, you will meet new friends and have acres of forest, trails, fields and two lakes to explore! Activities include swimming, fort building, races, outdoor living skills and teamwork all in the sunshine and fresh air! We will even let campers design their “day of play”!
Abracadabra Alakazam! Hocus Pocus! Or Expecto Patronum! Whatever is your flavor of spell casting; we got you covered at this fun and playful summer camp.
Drop Off and Pick Up Policies
Morning: Drop off is between 7:30am and 9:00am. Please check in at the Front Desk and staff will direct you.
Sign In: All campers must be signed in and out each day. Only parents and adults designated by the camper's parent or guardian will be permitted to sign them out. Parents must complete the authorize adult section in the camp registration form.
Lateness: Parents or thir authorized designates who are later than 5:30pm must pay $20.00 in cash to the staff member who had to stay late with their child.
All campers are expected to participate in all activities. If your child has had an illness or injury that will prevent them from being able to participate in any activity you must inform the camp leaders as soon as possible. Any special care required because of this illness or injury must be disclosed to the camp leader in charge of first aid for the day.
Medications: Any medication that a camper requires throughout the day must be in its original container with the prescription and/or dosage information clearly visible. Medications are to be given to the camp leader in charge of first aid for the day along with completed forms (available from program coordinator/supervisor) and signed by doctor/prescribing physician. If the medication is for allergic reactions, there are additional forms and information required in advance of your child arriving at camp.
