Memberships can be purchased and activated starting on Monday, April 23rd.

4 Months $99 +HST (Offer Expires on May 15th)

3 Months $79 +HST (Offer Expires on June 15th)

2 Months $59 +HST (Offer Expires on July 15th)

Please note the following terms:

  • Membership includes access to the Fitness Centre, Group Exercise, Cycle Zone, Swims, Skates, and the Stadium SMART Sessions.
  • Available for full time students up to age 25. Student ID is required at the time of purchase.
  • 4 month must be purchased and activated before May 15th, 3 month must be purchased and activated before June 15th, and the 2 month can be purchased and activated no later than July 15th, 2016. 
  • These memberships are not prorated.
  • These memberships cannot be placed on hold.
  • Must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • Parents and teens must be present at time of purchase as both signatures on the Agreement are required if under the age pf 19.
  • Subject to our regular cancellation policy.

Summer FITeen

July 2nd, 2019 – September 7th, 2019

Sign up Starting Monday, June 10th!

In an effort to break down barriers that prevent youth from becoming active the Sackville Sports Stadium is offering a summer membership FREE to youth ages 12-18 years. Please note based on the age of the youth, they may be restricted from participating in certain activities included in the membership.

Included in the Membership

  • Full access to the Fitness Centre (min. age 12 yrs)
  • Public Swims (12yrs+)
  • Public Skates (12yrs +)
  • Group Exercise Classes (min. age 14 yrs)
  • Cycle Zone Classes (min. age 14 years and a height min. of 4”11)
  • JR Prep Orientation (1 hour) - a review of gym etiquette / program / workout design and demonstration.

Terms & Conditions

  • Registration begins on Monday, June 10th, 2019.
  • Parent & youth must be present at the time of signing up. Both signatures are required.
  • Proof of age must be presented at the time of signup (we require a copy).
  • Parent & youth must fill out a health questionnaire at the time of signup.
  • Youth new to the facility or who have not had an active membership in the last 12 months that plan to use the Fitness Centre,  or are 12 years old must complete our JR Prep orientation program to ensure their safe use of the equipment and to help integrate them into the Fitness Centre Environment. Membership cards will not be given until this has been completed. This session must be booked at the time of signup. Anyone who wants this 1 hour orientation and has had a membership within the last 12 months is more than welcome to sign up for the session.
  • Those who currently have the Supreme Teen Membership do not need to signup for this as it is already included into your current membership.
  • Stadium SMART Sessions is not included in this Membership.

Fitness Centre (Min. 12yrs)

  • To access activity areas you must scan your Membership card at the Front Desk.
  • Cell phone use is not permitted in the change rooms, locker rooms, or while using any equipment.
  • Bring a lock for you locker. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • We ask that all Members allow others to work in-between sets and share equipment.
  • Please do not drop or bang weights onto the floor.
  • Please wipe off equipment after each use with spray cleaners and paper towels provided.
  • Please put all equipment back after use.
  • Workout time is for fun, results, safety and effectiveness (no bullying or unsafe challenging permitted).
  • Workout time is designated for workouts not hang outs.
  • Dress Code: Running shoes, Shorts or exercise pants, T-shirts or tanks (free of offensive language or symbols).
  • Hours of Operation: Monday to Thursday 5:15am – 10:30pm, Friday 5:15am – 10:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 7:00am – 10:00pm.

Group Exercise (Min. 14yrs) & Cycle Zone Classes (Min. 14yrs)

  • We recommend you show up 15mins early for Group Fitness or Cycle Zone classes to check in with the instructor letting them know you are new.
  • Schedules of classes can be found online on our website or at our Front Desk.
  • Cycle Zone Classes – There is a limited number of bikes. You must get a ticket to reserve your bike at the front desk (pool entrance). Bikes require individual set-up.
  • Dress Code: Running shoes, Shorts or exercise pants, T-shirts or tanks (free of offensive language or symbols).
  • Bring water!

Swimming (Min. 12yrs

  • Showers are required before entering the pool.
  • We recommend bringing a lock for your locker.
  • Only clean deck shoes on the pool deck and shower areas.
  • Public Swim schedule can be found online on our website or at our Front Desk.

Skating (Min. 12yrs)

  • HRM Public Skate Policies are in effect. These can be viewing online or at the Front Desk.
  • Public Skate schedule can be found online on our website or at our Front Desk.
  • No hockey sticks during skates.
  • Children 12 years of age and under must wear a CSA approved multi-impact helmet (hockey helmet).

Supreme Teen Membership

 

An ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP made available to youth ages 12 - 18 years.

ONLY $170.00 + TAX!!

The membership includes access to the following:

  • Participating teens will have access to the Fitness Centre, Swims, Skates, Group Exercise Classes and Cycle Zone Classes (must be 14 years and up).
  • Teens new to the facility must complete our Junior Prep personal fitness program to ensure their safe use of the equipment and to help integrate them into the Fitness Centre Environment.
  • This membership takes into consideration the Free Summer FITeen time period. The term of the membership is 12 months however the price is based on 10 months.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Proof of age is required.
  • Membership must be paid in full at the time of sign up.
  • Not eligible for auto-renewal or holds (medical holds only).
  • Subject to regular cancellation policy.
  • You must be 19 years and older to purchase a membership, those 18 years and younger must have their parents present as their signature is required.

How do I sign up for a Membership?
Our friendly and approachable Client Service Representatives can help you decide which membership is right for you by having the opportunity to explain in detail what our Memberships include. They can give you a tour of the facility and show you more in detail of what we offer.

What hours of operation is your Membership Team available?
Our Fitness Centre Reception is available to go over Membership info for you Monday thru Thursday 5:30am to 9:00pm, Friday 5:30am to 8:00pm, Saturdays 7:00am - 5:00pm and Sundays 7:00am - 8:00pm.

What length of Memberships do you offer?
We offer a 1 Month, 3 month, or annual membership paid in full or a monthly auto-renewal membership. By signing up for an annual paid in full membership you save one month off the purchase price!

What is included in a Membership?
We offer the following memberships:

All Access Membership - This membership includes access to the Co-Ed Fitness Centre, Group Exercise, Cycle Zone classes, Swimming, Skating, 6 - 45 minute personalized sessions with a certified trainer, and access to our member only times in the Training and Cycle Zones.

Supreme Teen Membership - For ages 12-18 years only and must be paid in full at the time of sign up. This membership includes access to the Co-Ed Fitness Centre, Group Exercise, Cycle Zone classes, Swimming, Skating, 6 - 45 minute personalized sessions with a certified trainer, and access to our member only times in the Training and Cycle Zones.

How much is a Membership?

Adult All Access - $40.00/month +hst

Senior / Youth All Access - $30.00/month +hst

Household All Access - $60.00/month +hst

Supreme Teen All Access - $170.00/year +hst

Do I have to pay my Membership in full?
No, we have payment plan options if you are unable to pay your Membership in full. You can pay in full or monthly.

What is the Stadium SMART Sessions? And is it included in your Memberships?
The Stadium SMART Sessions is exclusive to the Sackville Sports Stadium and is included in all of our Memberships except for the Pool only ones. It is a $300 value program that is included in all memberships and personalized to you. Whether you are a beginner to the Fitness Centre or have lots of experience - this program is for you! The program was developed to help you get the most out of your membership. Our highly trained Certified Trainers will give you:

  • 6 weekly, 45 minute personalized sessions with a highly qualified trainer.
  • Establish healthy exercise habits that fit into your lifestyle.
  • Improved confidence in and out of the gym.

Do I get discounts on Stadium Programs if I am a Member?
Discounts on programs are not offered for those with a membership.

What is considered a Household Membership?
A household is defined as 2 Adults (19yrs +) and dependant Children (18yrs & under) all living in the same household.

How old do you have to be to become a Member?
You must be 16 years of age or older to purchase a day pass. Those under 16 must obtain parental or guardian permission. You must be 19 years or older to purchase a term Membership. Those under 19 must obtain parental or guardian permission.

Do you offer any corporate discounts?

Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) employees receive a 25% discount on their annual membership. They must show a pay stub or an employee ID to qualify.

Can I place my Membership on hold?
For your convenience the Stadium makes it possible for you to put your annual membership on hold. Client may put their membership on hold for minimum 4 weeks and maximum 8 weeks, 2 times during the term of the membership. Client must complete a Membership Hold Application. Time will be added onto the end of the membership when hold period is over. Membership payments are collected during the hold period. Time on hold is non-refundable.

I have other Family Members on my Membership, can I place just myself on hold?
No, everyone on the Membership must all be placed on hold.

I need to change my banking information, what is the process?
Please come in and visit with one of our Client Services Representatives and they would be more than happy to assist you in filling out the required form.

I am not using my Membership, can I cancel it?
The Membership Agreement may be cancelled by giving us 15 days written notice prior to your next payment date.  You must come in and complete the Sackville Sports Stadium Resignation Request Form. Membership cancellation requests will not be authorized if the member’s membership dues payments or any or all portions of their membership fee or dues are in arrears. We do not accept cancellations by voice mail or e-mail.

I am moving, can I cancel my Membership with no penalty?
The Membership Agreement may be cancelled by giving us 15 days written notice prior to your next payment date. You must come in and complete the Sackville Sports Stadium Resignation Request Form. Membership cancellation requests will not be authorized if the member’s membership dues payments or any or all portions of their membership fee or dues are in arrears. We do not accept cancellations by voice mail or e-mail.

I need to cancel due to medical reasons. Can I cancel with no penalty?
The Membership Agreement may be cancelled by giving us 15 days written notice prior to your next payment date. You must come in and complete the Sackville Sports Stadium Resignation Request Form. Membership cancellation requests will not be authorized if the member’s membership dues payments or any or all portions of their membership fee or dues are in arrears. We do not accept cancellations by voice mail or e-mail.

I am not using my Membership often, can I transfer my Membership?
No we do not transfer memberships. You will need to cancel your membership by giving us 15 days written notice prior to your next payment date. You must come in and complete the Sackville Sports Stadium Resignation Request Form. Membership cancellation requests will not be authorized if the member’s membership dues payments or any or all portions of their membership fee or dues are in arrears. We do not accept cancellations by voice mail or e-mail.

I currently have a Membership; can I add someone onto it?
Absolutely! Please come in to speak with one of our Client Services Representatives to fill out the form and to learn of any extra costs associated with adding onto the Membership.

I currently have a Membership with another Family Member; can I remove him / her?
Yes you can downgrade your membership. Please come in to speak with one of our Front Desk Receptionists to fill out the required form. There is a $35 admin fee applied for downgrading your membership.

When does the Membership Agreement start?
You have an agreement with us once you have signed the agreement and we have accepted it. If for any reason there was a miscalculation in your Membership Agreement, we have 5 business days after the agreement has been signed to correct it.

Can I change my mind after signing the Membership Agreement?
You can cancel your agreement during your comfort guarantee period. You have 5 business days from the date you sign your initial agreement . This is only applicable for new membership agreements.
